I remember when gary glitter was first arested by the police in vietnam [doesn't this take you back, my first ever post was about him] he was fat he was wearing a pink tee shirt which as i recall his belly was hanging out of and he was bald now i've seen some more pictures of him and he looks quite cool with his well trimed white goatee black jeans trainers black sleevless shirt and baseball cap i would not have recognised him at all [he's pleading not guilty and looking great doing it however i believe he's been sent away for three years in any case] perhaps that was the idea that they would take one look at him and think it can't be the same man and let him go, in any case it reminds me of the time when sadam husain came out of his desert hidding hole and he had lost a huge amount of weight and had grown a beard i thought that he looked rather debanair i don't any more but i think that it was just such a shoking difference between that and his previous walking caricature look.
