Globalization an Communism.

Communism or Socialism can by their very nature only work if those involved in them are close enough to be able to talk to each, this is because Communism is based on the idea, or perhaps ideal of co-operation. If people aren't close enough to talk then they can't co-operate thus things end up going through the government which ends up with people simply having things forced on them at which point the the government stops being communist. That's why communism has allways worked better in smaller countries such as Cuba and Vietnam than in large countries such as Russia and China. Communism is far from dead in Russia but it is for all intents and purposes no longer in power it has been replaced with a Soviet un-union and as for China communism there has not lived in a while and has been replaced either with non-free market Capitalism or free market Communism or Comitalism or Capmunism.
Ironically Globilization the tool of Capitalism allows co-operation to spread accross the whole globe, all that stops it is human nature which the Communist have failed to wipe out and the Capitalist have failed to fully exploit..... or have they?

I think a kibbutz would work better than communism or socialism, because the latter two are usually just coverups to get people to suck up to a dictator.

In the kibbutz everyone knows each other and they actually cooperate and all.

Kibbutzes are Socialist [obviously with a Zionist flair] and they used to have rule that were so strict that you could allmost see them as being dictatorial allmost like the Roman Catholic Church or more pecifically the Vatican no one was allowed to own anything allso in many Kibutzes it used to be that the children wouldn't live with their parents and this was enforced, now however like most of the major communist countrys they have become more capitalist and now often bring in workers from the outside which completely goes against their self sufficiant ethos.

Thanks for stopping by at Bloody Awful Poetry! Very interesting post - I got quite a debate about communism going on my blog when I used a communism-related metaphor in a record review!

Once nanotechnology progresses to the point where individuals can generate their own power, the global social order will definitely change. It's only a matter of centuries before millenia of tradition and continuity are rendered moot.

i think we can generate our own electricity at the moment its expensive to get going with it like bying the generater or having the wind or water wheel built and installed but it can be done.
